| Q: How can I become involved? |

Simply show up to any of our meetings
and jump right in. You can check the calendar
for our next meeting date and sign up
to our mailing list to receive our meeting notifications and announcements. |
| Q: Are there any fees or membership dues? |
| |
No. We at the Finance Club have a big
heart, and being college students ourselves, we know you have enough to
pay for. We meet our budget through various channels of external funding
and sponsorship. |
| Q: How many members does the club have? |
| |
Every semester there are approximately
25-30 active members, 50-60 passive members, and 6 executive board members.

| Q: What does "BSBA" stand for? |
| |
Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration. It is the name of the degree that SMG undergraduates
receive. "BSBA" is included as a part of our organization's
name because there also exists the MBA finance club.

| Q: When and where are the meetings? |
| |
Our regular meetings are usually held
on Tuesday nights, 7pm, in the School of Management. See the calendar
for exact times and locations. |
| Q: What can I do if I can't attend a meeting? |
| |
You can read the slides and lecture
notes posted after every meeting in the calendar
section. |
| Q: Do you have an attendance policy? |
| |
No. You can show up to all or just
one of the meetings. Almost all our meetings and events are open to everyone.
However, some events with limited seating (trips, roundtable meetings)
are filled first by those with high attendance. |
| Q: It's the middle of the semester. Is
it too late to join? |
| |
No. Although our projects do build
on what we've worked on in the beginning of the year, most of the material
we cover is something that you can pick up without any prior exposure.
You can gauge it yourself by reviewing the notes and slides in the calendar
section. We will always take time after a meeting to offer additional
help to bring you up to speed. |
